COSTS

Most contractors will give you a quote based on their estimate of how many hours a job will take and how much the materials will cost. As every project is unique and predicting how it will go is nearly impossible, your quote will account for contingencies and you will most likely be overcharged. My pricing is different. I only charge for the time I actually spend. There is no markup on materials or any other costs. My rate is only $60 an hour. And there is no minimum. I just round it up to one full hour for small jobs that only take a few minutes.
